The 1970 movie, directed by Herbert Ross (Funny Girl, Pennies From Heaven), starred Barbra Streisand and George Segal. Buck Henry (The Graduate) based his screenplay on Bill Manhoff’s play which originally starred Alan Alda and Diana Sands on Broadway.
